Nightingale Farms goat milk lotions are made with fresh milk from our family farm. Goat milk has been used for hundreds of years as a natural cleanser. It is one of nature’s finest moisturizers. Goat milk naturally contains lactic acid, vitamin A and several B vitamins, all of which are very nourishing to the skin. The butterfat in goat milk softens and moisturizes and the alpha-hydroxy acids are believed to penetrate the top layers of skin to assist in exfoliation, the effect is “anti-aging.” Our lotion contains over 35% goat milk which has a Ph level that is similar to that of human skin. This similarity reduces surface tension and allows for more absorption. Goat milk is one of nature’s finest moisturizers.
